How to Send cellphone to Nepal

Hello,
Does anyone know about any courier services that we can use to send cellphones to Nepal? Some company that would take care of all the custom procedures .

I sent through Fedex and I got fucked up.
I am told that I have to contact some broker to clear the custom.
I am not sure if I chose a wrong option while sending the mobile or that's how Fedex operates. When I talked to Fedex they told me that the recipient agreed to that option and there is also option for Fedex to handle everything.
Let us know how it goes for you if you send through Fedex.

They use both fedex and DHL but my experince with DHL was good. It cost me around $60 with insurance and shipping cost. Plus they are very fast. As per custom release , DHL agent will clear it up and get the custom charge from the receiver in nepal.
Dont use DHL or FEDEX direct service. They are too expensive. The above mentioned company send items in bulk i guess so it comes out to be cheaper. I have sent more than 5 phones to nepal and i never had problem.

Typically for latest smartphone they charge 4-6 thousand nepali currency.

So basically you will be spending $100 with shipping and custom for a phone to be sent here. So it's better if you can find someone who is travelling to nepal and throw it in their luggage.

Yes i think they will. They will charge you custom for any smartphone or other electronics items regardless of it being used or gift items. But i mighnt be right. All i said is based upon my personal experince . I had sent used phones and they had to pay custom back home.
