Hello, I had a question: Can a person travel to UK with Nepalese passport if they got GC via Asylum? or do they need to get Travel Docs? I could't get a concrete answer anywhere online.

I have in the past traveled to Nepal with GC and Nepali passport (no travel doc needed), but I think you might need a visa to go to UK, check with the consulate office first and yes coming back to US just show your green card.

@Binaya- This guy I am asking for has a GC through asylum. So I am sure he cannot go to Nepal using Nepalese Passport. I was wondering if he can use Nepalese passport to go to third countries or he needs to apply for travel docs?

@Annieee, Yes you can travel to UK using your Nepalese passport. Get a visa to UK, then travel. Upon returning, you show your greencard. If you have not renewed your Nepalese passport or applied for replacement passport after been granted asylum, you will have no issues.
