I am in H1b since Octber 2007 from Dhoti consultancy. But, I  also have OPT valid from march 30th 2007 to  march 31st  2008.  I did  not get any job till date so they  did not run my pay cheque. What will be my status if they terminate my H1b right now ?

When u get ur H1..it automatically voids ur OPT...prolly you can go bak to skool and get bak in F1, its kinda hard I think. You cannot take full time classes in you H1. Prolly you might wanna check website. They mite have good information. Also for you H1 to be active they have to provide you wid your paycheck.

If the H-1B was a "change of status" you are considered to be in H visa from October 01, 2007. If it was for consulate processing and you never went for the visa interview, you are still on your OPT.

As mentioned above, no pay stubs, no H-1B.
