It really depends on what you plan to do with the web site. There's a huge difference between building a web site for simple marketing vs a full fledge e-commerce site. In either case check the hosting packages provided by 1&1 and go daddy. Also check http://www.startupjournal.com for more information on starting a business. They have a lot of useful resources.
